WHO IS IT FOR?
As well as those considering a Ketogenic Dietary Therapy (KD) for themselves for Epilepsy, Glut 1 or Brain Cancer, families of those needing these treatments are welcome to attend as well as those working in the community care profession, hospices, schools and residential settings. Parents and patients already using a Ketogenic Diet are encouraged to attend for news on latest research, the future of KD, new products and services and networking.
This year there are specialist sessions for those looking at ketogenic dietary therapies not only for complex and intractable epilepsy, but also for Glut 1 and newer developments such as using the diet for Brain Cancer and we are delighted to welcome some new partner charities to our conference this year by way of The Glut 1 Foundation and Astro Brain Tumour Fund, to work with us in providing this information to the families.
During the breaks you will have the opportunity to see cooking demonstrations and sample ketogenic foods as well as being able to gather even more information from the variety of exhibitors present.
These days are always informative and exhausting but most of all very rewarding for all those attending.  This year promises to be no exception.
