Jess - Age 18

Hi,

I’m Jess.
I’m 18 years old.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 11.
It began with absence seizures but as I’ve got older I’ve had tonic clonic seizures, partial and complex partial seizures.
BUT
I’m determined not to be beaten by epilepsy!
Last year I won a Young Epilepsy Award for fundraising £4000 in order to go on a world challenge expedition to Madagascar where I’ll be helping building a school.
I do struggle with memory issues and seizures still.
BUT
I’m determined to complete my A levels and get to university. 🙂
